Huntington Park, CA Bridges the Gap Between Residents and Mental Health Care

HUNTINGTON PARK, CA— Taking the first step toward mental health care can be difficult. Finding the right provider, understanding insurance coverage, and navigating language barriers can make the process even more overwhelming. To help residents overcome these challenges, the City of Huntington Park, California, has partnered with Care Solace to offer free, confidential care coordination services available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Home to more than 50,000 residents in southeastern Los Angeles County, Huntington Park is a close-knit community with deep Latino roots and strong family connections. Nearly 97% of residents identify as Hispanic or Latino, and Spanish is widely spoken throughout the city. Recognizing that access to care should not depend on language, financial circumstances, or familiarity with the healthcare system, this partnership provides residents with a simpler, more personalized path to support.

How Residents Can Access Care

Whether seeking help for themselves or a loved one, Huntington Park residents can call Care Solace at (888) 515-7881 any time, day or night, or visit caresolace.com/ca-huntingtonpark to confidentially explore available care options.

From the first conversation, residents are connected with a dedicated Care Companion who takes the time to understand their needs and helps coordinate the next steps. This includes identifying licensed mental health and substance use treatment providers, navigating insurance coverage, scheduling appointments, and following up to ensure the connection is a good fit.

If the first provider isn't the right match, the search doesn't end there. Care Companions continue working with residents to explore other options, reducing the frustration and uncertainty that can often discourage people from seeking help.

With support offered in more than 200 languages, including Spanish, and assistance for residents with private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, or no insurance, Care Solace helps make the process of finding care more accessible.

Supporting the Health and Well-Being of Huntington Park

Mental health challenges can affect anyone, from young people navigating school and family pressures to adults managing work, financial stress, or caring for loved ones. Huntington Park's partnership with Care Solace recognizes that each resident's circumstances are different and that finding support should reflect those individual needs.

Care Solace assists individuals and families seeking care for anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, substance use disorders, and other behavioral health concerns. Beyond treatment connections, residents can also receive help locating community resources for food, housing, and other essential social services that can have a meaningful impact on their overall well-being.

Through this partnership, Huntington Park is strengthening its commitment to community well-being by giving residents something valuable: a real person to turn to, a clearer path forward, and continued support throughout the process of finding care.
