Care Solace Expands Social Service Coordination Offerings

CARDIFF, Calif., April 24, 2024Care Solace, an established leader in mental health care coordination for school districts, municipalities and employers, has expanded its services to connect individuals to essential resources nationwide. In addition to mental health and substance use treatment support, Care Solace will now help families get access to food, housing and free or low-cost medical and dental services. Offerings include: identifying food pantries, food delivery services and food assistance programs, help finding transitional housing and shelters, city, county and state agencies, and more.

According to the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, 56% of Americans with a reported mental illness don't receive the treatment they need. The growth of its social service offerings is a testament to Care Solace's commitment to addressing the holistic needs of communities across the nation, and an answer to the ongoing mental health and homelessness crisis in the United States.

“Navigation, coordination - access to services - is the single most difficult process in the mental health infrastructure,” said Chad Castruita, founder and CEO of Care Solace. “In 2012 the disease of suicidal ideation, drug addiction and alcoholism put me into homelessness. It took my parents four to six months to find the help that I needed. I launched Care Solace to make sure that every person in need receives services in an expedited way.”

Founded in 2017, Care Solace has grown its network to more than 558K+ providers serving more than 930 communities. To learn more about Care Solace or get your community connected to social services, visit caresolace.org
